Amy Mitchell (played by Ellie Dadd) increasingly finds herself ensnared by Craig Ingram (played by Matthew James-Billy) in next week's episode of the drama 'EastEnders,' as his mysterious plans delve deeper into darkness.

Craig's Role in the Police Investigation

Craig appears as part of the investigation into the attack on Joel Marshall (played by Max Bowden), who was severely injured and left for dead. Amy is identified as one of the suspects in the case and decides to approach Craig to learn about the existing evidence. However, this effort leads to her confession to Craig, who initially considers reporting this confession but is soon sidelined from the case.

Craig's Troubling History

Craig's concerning and inappropriate behaviors with Amy are not the first time he has encountered trouble in his career. He has previously been investigated for inappropriate conduct, and his boss had suspended him due to another complaint regarding an inappropriate relationship with a female colleague.

Craig tells Amy that he has removed her name from the case, while not mentioning anything about his suspension. His behaviors indicate that he is descending further into darkness.

Increasing Pressure on Amy

Craig continues to invite Amy for drinks, pressuring her to talk about her problems by ordering her a double gin. He mocks Amy for having 'childish' friends and ultimately kisses her.

When Amy's father and Craig's colleague, Jack Branning (played by Scott Maslen), becomes aware of their conversations, Craig tells him that Amy feels guilty. However, he continues to message Amy and does not distance himself from her.

Amy's Challenges and Dark Future

In the coming week, Craig gradually distances himself from Amy, angering her, but ultimately agrees to meet with her, attributing his neglect to his increasing workload, while in reality, he has nothing specific to do and is suspended.

Amy gradually gets caught in his web and talks about the tragedy of her mother’s death, Roxy Mitchell (played by Rita Simons), and her fear of losing her stepmother, Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish). However, when Craig becomes aware of her past wounds, Amy flees.

Yet, by the end of the week, she finds herself ensnared by Craig once again. This dark story continues, and it remains unclear whether anyone will notice Amy's situation and take action.
