Kelly Osbourne has spoken about the painful collapse of her relationship with her older sister Aimee, stating that she sees no hope for reconciliation between them.
A Distance from Childhood
The 41-year-old has never hidden that she and Aimee, 43, are distant from each other and had previously admitted that the two sisters simply "do not understand each other." However, Kelly has now gone further, claiming that she feels her sister has never properly acknowledged her and their brother Jack during their childhood, suggesting that Aimee has been "ashamed" of their famous family.

In a conversation with Paul C. Brunson on the podcast "We Need To Talk," she said she has reached a point where she can accept that they are fundamentally different and she does not want a relationship with Aimee.
No Hope for Reconciliation
She said, "I respect her and accept her, but we are different, and that’s okay." She added, "If you’re not going to accept me for who I am and constantly try to change me and say ugly things about me, and it really seems like you’re happy when I’m not doing well, I don’t want you in my life."
When Brunson asked her if there was hope for mending their relationship, Kelly firmly replied: "No, no." Despite this certainty, she admitted that the separation from Aimee has brought her a constant sense of loss. Kelly described herself and Aimee as "opposite poles" and said one of the hardest parts has been feeling that she never had the older sister relationship she wanted.
Kelly said, "I never had an older sister" and explained that she had to learn some things on her own that she felt an older sister would typically teach her.
She added that she and her younger brother Jack have always been close, clearly stating: "To be honest, my older sister never really validated me and my brother."
While Kelly is now in her 40s and seems to have pulled herself out of the shadow of her past troubles, the effects of this separation are still evident in her life.
