Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) and Siddy King (played by Patsy Kensit) have once again faced each other in the Emmerdale series. Siddy's Return and Hidden Secrets
Siddy presents Nicola with images of herself and Jamie, claiming to have had a secret three-year relationship with him. But do these images reflect the truth or are they part of a larger scheme? Viewers will soon discover that these images are fake, and Siddy is collaborating with Robert Sugden (played by Ryan Hawley) to find a large sum of money that Jamie has hidden away.
The History of Cain and Siddy’s Relationship
The relationship between Cain and Siddy dates back over two decades, when Siddy was still married to Jamie. To prevent Chas from marrying Tom King, she pays Cain to reveal Chas's secrets, which ultimately leads to the wedding being ruined. After various collaborations, the two develop a romantic relationship that soon hits a dead end.
Their relationship comes to ruin when they decide to stage a fake kidnapping to extort money from the King family. However, instead, Cain steals two million pounds from Siddy and leaves the village without her. Siddy has now returned to the village to pursue new goals.
Patsy Kensit, the actress playing Siddy, says about her character's return to Emmerdale: "She is a woman of desperation who has returned for a significant reason and will stop at nothing. It will be interesting to see how far she will go. And we know that if Siddy has something in mind, she will give it her all."
