In a Q&A session, David Ornstein, a reputable football journalist, mentioned that Arsenal is interested in signing Ngumah and that he has been well received at the Emirates Stadium.
Ornstein also emphasized that there are no signs of Ngumah being dissatisfied with his situation at Liverpool, and the club is likely working to extend his current contract, which runs until June 2028. This move is aimed at preventing other clubs in the Premier League and beyond from attracting him.
Bayern's Interest in Ngumah
Interestingly, Ornstein claimed that Bayern Munich had identified Ngumah as their primary target last summer to strengthen their options in the winger position and had conducted extensive research in this regard. However, no offers reached the execution stage, as Liverpool and Andoni Iraola had no intention of opening the doors for his departure.
Ngumah expressed his feelings about starting the game at Anfield after playing in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid. He said: "It was very surreal. When I saw my name in the lineup in the morning, I knew it was going to be a good day!"
