Samasami stated in this meeting that out of the total 86 million barrels of oil transferred, only 30 million barrels have been delivered to final buyers, and the fate of more than 56 million barrels remains shrouded in ambiguity. This significant figure raises many questions, especially in the current economic conditions of the country, which is undergoing a "full-scale economic war."
He also said: "Our economy is in a state of full-scale economic war, but it has not taken a war posture commensurate with this war, and we have even opened gateways for the enemy in the vital and currency arteries of the country." These remarks serve as a wake-up call for officials, especially in the Ministry of Oil, who must be accountable for this situation.
Accountability of Oil Officials
Samasami further called for accountability from the supervisory officials of the Ministry of Oil, including the Minister of Oil and the CEO of the National Oil Company. He deemed this situation as the stagnation of several billion dollars of public funds and emphasized that transparency in this matter is essential.
