Boris Johnson, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, made sharp and forceful statements in response to Russia's recent airstrike on a Ukrainian train. This attack, which Johnson attributed to Vladimir Putin's 'divergent logic,' occurred at the Polish-Ukrainian border, and Johnson clearly referred to it as an inhumane act.

Criticism of Neglecting Defense for Ukraine

Johnson wrote in a post on social media platform X: 'I don't know what divergent logic led Putin to such an attack. This type of random and senseless attacks is what Ukrainians face every day, even on civilian rail lines.'

He also referred to the death toll among Ukrainian railway workers, noting the increasing number of victims and said: 'So far, Putin has been responsible for the deaths of 1,700 Ukrainian workers. They and their daily passengers are truly heroes.'

Call for Serious Action

Boris Johnson continued that it is time for the world to help Ukraine. He asked: 'When will we give them the necessary air defense? Why don't we want to free Putin's money and give it to Ukraine?' He referred to over 140 billion euros in a Belgian bank account and about 10 billion pounds in London, stating: 'Britain can take the lead.'

Johnson emphatically added: 'Ukrainians will prevail – this has been completely clear in their amazing country over the last three days. But if we want this terrible war to end quickly, we must act more seriously and give them what they need and deserve.'

These statements come as tensions in the region continue to rise, and Johnson, as a strong voice in support of Ukraine, once again emphasized the need for immediate action.
