Strictly Come Dancing, with the goal of attracting young people to the world of dance, will launch a new spin-off titled Strictly Pro Dance Off. This program, specifically designed for a young audience, will soon air alongside the return of the main show this Saturday.

Introduction to Strictly Pro Dance Off

Strictly Pro Dance Off features a series of fast-paced dance competitions between the professional dance teams of the show, including both new and veteran dancers. This seven-minute spin-off allows teenagers to participate in a virtual ballroom and learn moves alongside their favorite dancers.

In this program, two professional dancers will take the stage to compete in an exciting contest and capture the attention of the training coach who will determine the competition score. This initiative is seen as an effort to preserve and strengthen the future of the program among the new generation of viewers.

Changes in the Main Program

The return of Strictly Come Dancing, along with new hosts such as Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe, alongside a fresh group of celebrities who will dance in the ballroom, has become an exciting reality. These celebrities will strive to take home the show's coveted trophy.

The Strictly Pro Dance Off program will be showcased weekly through the Saturday Mash-Up! on CBBC, with its first episode featuring Diane Buswell as the coach. She will teach the moves of a jive, and Kai Widdrington and Lauren Oakley will compete to perform it.

Sarah Muller, the Senior Commissioning Editor for BBC Children's and Education, stated in an official statement: "Strictly Pro Dance Off has brought together everything that children love about Strictly in a new, energetic short format." This program allows young viewers to see professional dancers and become familiar with exciting competitions while learning various moves.
