Jurrien Timber, Arsenal's defender, was left out of the team for the Carabao Cup match against Ipswich as a precaution. Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's head coach, alleviated concerns about the player's injury status and stated that Timber is not facing any issues.
Experience of Returning to the Field
Timber played in Arsenal's last match against Sunderland, which ended in a 2-0 victory, and was substituted for Ben White in the second half. The 25-year-old Dutch defender has been struggling with a hamstring issue since March and was unable to play in last summer's World Cup for the Netherlands.

Arteta's Cautious Approach
However, Arteta has gradually allowed Timber to return to match fitness and it was expected that he would play against Ipswich, even if as a substitute. But the Arsenal head coach decided it was better for Timber to rest to be ready for future matches, especially next week's game against Brighton.
In the absence of Timber and White, Martin Zubimendi played as the right-back and joined Marley Salmon, Gabriel Magalhães, and Myles Lewis-Skelly in Arsenal's new defense line. Zubimendi performed well in this match and fulfilled his duties effectively in the absence of two key defenders.
In the first half, Max Daumen scored the first goal for Arsenal with an outstanding individual move, and Noni Madueke doubled the team's lead with a beautiful strike.
In response to a question about Timber's status, Arteta stated: "No, everything is fine. He has played more than we expected. He played 53 minutes yesterday, which is remarkable after five months away from the field. We need to take care of him."
Arteta also referred to his decision to use Salmon and Daumen in the starting lineup, saying: "They have played with us before and their presence is excellent. Their training and competition during preseason were very good. I am really looking forward to seeing their performance."
Piero Hincapie was also one of the surprising absentees for Arsenal, and Arteta noted that this player was left out due to fatigue. "Some players have real fatigue and issues that we need to pay attention to. There are other players who are fresh and in better condition to play."
