Ed Sheeran's Humble Origins
Ed Sheeran, born in 1991 in Halifax, West Yorkshire, grew up in an artistic family. His father, John, is an art consultant and teacher, while his mother, Imogen, works as a cultural advisor and jewelry designer. Ed sang in the church choir from the age of four and began playing guitar at eleven. His classmates at Thomas Mills School introduced him as someone who would likely become famous.
Early Progress and Success in Music
At the age of thirteen, Ed began recording music and released his first independent work titled Spinning Man. He moved to London in 2008 and performed in small venues and on the streets.
