This scene, filmed during a collaboration between the two popular television series, Emmerdale and Coronation Street, has recently been released and fans have reacted strongly to it.
Meeting in the Elevator
In this clip, the two well-known and talkative characters encounter each other in an elevator, and immediately the tension between them begins. Tracy, in a superior tone, asks Ross to press the elevator button for her, which sparks a sharp exchange. Ross, who is certainly not one to remain silent, responds to Tracy, and this exchange turns into a verbal competition.
Controversy and Charm
Despite the tensions between these two characters, Ross soon realizes that there is an interesting and delightful feeling between them beyond the verbal tension. However, Tracy is not easily willing to admit to this feeling and tries to maintain a calm demeanor. This scene was one of four special meetings filmed for CorrieDale, but only one of them was chosen for broadcast.
In a vote that allowed fans to choose their favorite meeting, ultimately the meeting between Carla and Gary was confirmed, and the scene with Ross and Tracy was cut from the show. However, the head of ITV's soap operas, Ian McLeod, had previously assured fans that these scenes would not disappear forever and would be released online in the future.
Now that the scene of Ross and Tracy has been released, fans are extremely excited about this meeting, and some are calling for more collaborations like this in the future.
